As an Auditor you will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records, including tax codes, receipts and ensuring bills and wages are being paid correctly and on time. Audits are the regular and routine checks made by Auditors which outline details of a company's records to make sure that all financial statements and methods are free from fraud and error. Auditors can be hired internally by a company or can work for an external agency and can be called or sent into a business to make checks and decipher that the finances and records are up-to-date and within the law.
Requirements for being a successful Auditor
In order to succeed as an Auditor, you need to be very driven and motivated with a lot of confidence and an aptitude for problem-solving. You must also be numerically excellent and have a very precise attention to detail. The ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle workloads are also great skills to have as an Auditor.
